Changing out a hood strut
I need some guidance on how to change out a hood strut. I got the part yesterday, but I know have a clue where to begin. I want to learn to do as much as I can on my 190E 2.3 and I am very patient. I will try and try again until I get it right.
Thanks |

You first must open the hood to the complete vertical position. In this position the hood strut is on the left side hooked to the hood with an "e-clip". remove that clip & the one on the body & remove the old one(strut) & install the new one.
