Dashectomy here I go.
So on Sunday, I found out that we are expecting our third child.
Makes me thankful for the e320 and its third row seat. Well, its time to replace the evaporator so last night we started digging into it. Got the center console out, the instrument cluster, the passenger airbag and the dash. Took us about 3 hours. Now on my e320 there is a metal structural tube that goes across the dash and a support that goes from what looks to be the floor up to that tube. Do we need to take those tubes out in order to get to the evap, or can we just work around it?
