w140 sway bar bolt

Hi I'm working on bushings.I got the bushing mounts off.However can't get sway bar to come lose from link mounts.
How do you?

If they have never been replaced they will have a 19mm nut, 18mm if replaced. Loosen that nut until the joint spins and you are no longer loosening. Then put a wrench on the nut and hold it while using a 6mm allen to turn the threaded socket clockwise. Careful to not put excessive force on the 6mm allen, it will round out rather easily and it's a real PITA to get it off once that happens.

Sway bar link bolt the allen part rounded out.Will use easy out to hold allen hole while I put everything back. Bushing removal failure,Have added rubber around bushing instead.

I'm going to order end links and cut off old ones from sway bar.Found some for $12 each.

I end up drilling out the rounded stud,then nut came right off.The other I used a sawsall to it.Job went real fast after sway bar was out.
Car now drives like a dream.
