Chasing Battery Drain issues on my 87 190D and noticed the Alternator D+ had 1.7 Volts KOEO. Is this a Field Diode leaking? KOEO I shouldn't have ANY voltage at D+. The Alt is a Bosch Rebuild with about 1500 miles on it. The 1.7 V sticks int he back of my feeble mind as a diode problem. Any sources for Bosch Diodes? Thanks!

most likely a leaky diode . i have found two bad ones in my old alternator, which would go astray only at higher temperatures.
