keyless entry mechanism operation
Hi, All
I know a lot has been written on this subject, but most, if not all, focuses on the keyless entry as sold by mercedesshop and others. I have keyless entry as a standard (factory fitted ?) to my 93 200E. Issue is that it does not lock the car when I activate the system - the door-pins pull in but it is as if it does not pull the locking mechanisms far enough to get the vacuum-and-mechanics to do the locking. Unlocks 100%. Is there any known method of adjustment ? Seems to me that the pulse that the control unit sends to the vacuum pump might be too short, therefore the vacuum stops before the locks engage ... Any other things to consider ? TIA L |
