1996 C280 CEL ... Help MBDOC... or anyone Please,

P0441 code, The new purge valve pulses when engine is warmed up and both black lines are attached. I've "blown" out the lines coming and going out of the purge valve.
There are no breaks in any of the vac lines coming or going to the switch-over valve under the w/w resevoir.
The Cel comes back on after about 20 miles of the code being cleared. What am I missing and what can I check next? I need to pass the state inspection yesterday.

Could be the MAP sensor under the reservoir, it monitors the vacuum changes & sends that info to the DM that registers the codes.

Thanks MBDOC,

How many vac lines should the switchover valve have connected to it?

Missing one vac line

There is one vac line missing in that case. I found one disconnected vac line and assumed it went to the FWD end of the switchover valve. when I pulled the old MAP sensor I noticed a small piece of broken hose attached to nipple on the bottom. I then pulled the vac line off the front of the switchover valve and attached it to bottom of the MAP sensor.
I am having difficulty deciphering the yellow diagram under the hood, the codes have me head scratching.
Where could I get the schematic for the vac line routeing between the purge valve, switchover valve and MAP sensor?

Made up a vac line from the top of the switch over valve to under the MAP sensor, still got the CEL after 10 miles.
Can anyone out there guide me to the correct vac line layout?
