What type of oil to get....
Hey all! I have a 92 300E with the m103 6 and with almost 108k on it. Its about time for an oil change, and I was wondering what type to get? My dad had put 10w-30 in (To the best of my knowledge, he really didn't have a clue, so I had to point out bottles untill he recognized something....) What do you guys think? I drive the car HARD at times, and other times I take it pretty easy. Any suggestions would be appreciated...

Mobil 1
1. Mobil 1, Redline or Amsoil all synthetic types.
2. I use Mobil 1 because it’s best bang for the buck. 3. The 10W-30 is your choice for Austin Texas. Thai GI sends...

Mobil 1 for oil and for weight use what ever the owner's manual says to use for your local temps. For dino oil use Chevron Delo 15W-40 every 3K.

Mobil one would be great, but 15W50 would be best for your climate. 10W30 is too thin for the Austin summers, and 15w50 or 15W40 is plenty thin enough for Austin winters.
Good luck, |
