Hey guys, I've been reading for a long time, this is my first post.
my 230k mile '87 300SDL has fuel bubbling up from about two and a half injector lines. the fuel is bubbling up right out of the delivery valve tops - where the lines connect to the delivery valves, not where the delivery valves meet the injection pump. I tried tightening them with a 14mm line wrench and all but one sort of stopped bubbling.
Through my lurking, I expect that this is a crack in the fuel line, likely right at the end of it on the IP side. as of now, it still drives but it shakes, stinks and leaks.
The vibration isolation clips and two or three new fuel lines seem like they should fix it, what do you guys think?
