On my 1996 C220 all three brake warning lights (ABS, worn pads & emergency brake) are on constantly. Also, when I come to a stop the engine almost stalls out and then smooths itself. The transmission does not seem to be shifting smoothly. Tha car has 60,000 miles and has been well maintained. Any ideas?

BRAKE light... check the brake fluid... this light will come on if it's low.


Brake pad wear indicator... check your brake pads... this light will come on when your brake pads have less than 10% wear left.

ABS lightl... could be a number of reasons.. is it intermittent, or consistent? Do you have any warm starting (engine) issues? Has the Overvolt Protection Relay ever been changed??
