240D interior kick panels
The kick panels (the ones above your feet, under the dash) are fastened by some peculiar kind of plastic thing. It looks like a big flat-headed screw, but it won't screw out (at least it felt like I was going to break it).
Can someone tell me how these plastic thingies come out of there? This is a 1982. Ron Dwelle |

Kick panel fastenings
I think the screws you are talking about are the ones which you only have to turn one half turn to open. They look like screws but are in fact lever type catches don't try turning them you could be there all day! Hope were both talking about the same thing:-Bear
