E320 2002 wagon rear wiper failure
I have a 2002 E320 wagon with 76k miles. I have owned it since new. The rear wiper has failed and I replaced the motor and no results. The little light illuminated when the on switch is pushed.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Steve |

I assume you checked the relevant fuses with a meter. In case not, the fuses for the rear wiper motor on a wagon are #12, #41, #44 and #19.

Richard,
Thanks and yes I have metered those 4 fuses twice. I guess the hazard-wiper combination switch could be a culprit. Any advice or should I just replace it? Steve |

The switch is a possibility as well as a wiring issue. Unless there was a change in the facelift models those switches are ganged so you'd have to replace an assembly($$$). It will become obvious when you remove the wood trim panel.

It's a ganged switch as you said Richard
There were no wiring issues so I guess that's it.. Thanks Steve |
