Can't disarm alarm in w124, tried search.

Hi guys,

I have a 94 e320 that has a very annoying problem. I bought the car after it had sat for a few months and had to jump the battery to get it started (used portable jump). Drove it home and started fixing items it needed (tensioner, monovalve, valve gasket, plugs, coil etc...). I took the battery out while I worked on it for about 2 weeks.

I just finished buttoning everything up and now I can get the damn alarm/immobiliser to disengage.

I've researched it up and down, the previous owner removed the ATA and the plug has been wrapped up, so that is done, I've jumped the k38 module (87/30 though mine is blue and not silver like the ones posted).

I've also tried the x27 test and it starts right up.

To recap:
- ATA unplugged and removed by previous owner
- k38 module jumped
- x27 test done

The battery is a couple years old, and needed a recharge. I did that overnight and put it in fresh and still no go.

I'm scratching my head to figure it out. I would appreciate any help I can get, I'm at my wits end!!!!

Thanks in advance.

Harv
