W201 190E Vacuum Door Lock Issues

I recently acquired a 1985 190E 2.3-16 Euro version, and the previous owner swapped the two front door handles from a junkyard car. It seems the passenger door is acting as the master, where when I unlock it with a separate key, the rest of the vacuum locks unlock, but the drivers door only unlocks itself. Are these just swapped by accident?

Previous owner could have neglected to hook up the electrical connection. Turning the key trips the switch and kicks the vacuum pump into action. That's what unlocks/locks the doors.

On my 190E if you unlock either door, or the trunk it will unlock the whole car, or lock the whole car. Like Jamesdean said you probably just have something unplugged in the drivers door.

Thanks, I'll remove the door panel and check it out this weekend.
