M104 190e cranks, no fuel and no spark. Please help

Hello everyone,

I've been stumped with an issue on my 1993 M104 swapped 190e. The engine is from a 1995 E320.

About two months ago, I drove the car to work, and the slave cylinder gave out in my office complex. I was very busy and the car sat for about a week and a half in the parking lot. Finally I got it towed to a repair shop, and after they jumped the car, I got a call from my friend who asked "Did the car start before?" It cranked great but didn't give any signs of fuel or spark.

The car never had trouble starting. Two days later, it decided to start with no issues. They replaced the slave cylinder and it drove great, however would randomly stall and slightly hiccup for a split second when in motion. I drove it home and parked it.

Ever since then I've been testing small things and so far have discovered:

1. The car has no spark or fuel. The fuel pumps don't prime and spraying starting fluid does nothing.
2. The fuel system is okay. I jumped the fuel pump relay and the pumps run. Also have tried different fuel pump relays as well as OVP relays. No luck.

At this point I thought I'd ask for advice as to what could cause the car to crank, but not have the command to give fuel or spark. Bad ECU? I just have trouble believing that the ECU would randomly deteriorate and start malfunctioning after the car sat for a week or so. It has sat through winters before and never had any type of issue.

Thanks in advance. All insight is appreciated.

Sounds like a crank sensor if i was to guess. Damaged wiring or wet with water if they decreased it after the work..

Thanks so much for your suggestion.
Would you say it's plausible for the sensor to fail out of nowhere, while the car is parked for a week or two? And then start working again for 1 or 2 days and then fail again?

So today an electrically inclined friend stopped by. He measured resistance for the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors at the 44-pin ecu plugs. Both are good. Any other ideas?
Thanks for all the help so far, I'm just at a loss for words. How likely is it that the ECU itself simply went bad?
