102 engine mount suspect
Hi, All
Whilst changing the engine oil I managed to have a good look under the engine. I saw that the engine mounting under the intake plumbing did not look like it's partner under the exhaust plumbing. Most, if not all, of the engine mount issues raised in this forum are for the larger engined W124's, so my stint in the archives were not 100% applicable ... How will I know, visually, if the mount is suspect. I have a 4 speed manual and there is some movement of the stick if you accellarate / decelarate - no metal-to-metal stuff jet .... How easy are they to change ? If anyone has a pic or two that they are willing to share - that'll be superb !! Louis
