w108 / \'71 280s straight 6 to V8 engine swap

I have an immaculate '71 280s but the engine power is not great. I'm trying to find information on a performance upgrade to the stock 6cyl engine or even swapping in a V8 engine.

Any directions to information /books etc on this would be greatly appreciated. Especially an english language workshop service manual .
