260 blower motor

260 blower motor

My blower motor in my 260e is making allot of noise. I know it needs to be replaced. Lately the fan only turns on when car is cold in morning. After I restart the car later the fan will not turn on again that day. Why would this happen. Also how difficult is it to change this motor. If I bring it to a German repair shop what is a fair rate of how many hours to replace.
