Klima Relay Jump (Bridge)
Why has this been done on so many 123s? Certainly a $100 part is a small price to pay for a fuse box fire?
Anyway, my wagon project has it, clear as day. Two greenies twisted together. I have the relay and will soon re solder the wire to the pin. Has anyone ever done an in-line fuse instead of rewiring/soldering the fuse box terminals? I've got a new compressor that wants to work, but its noisy and I've popped the (14?) fuse a couple of times running it. At this point, there's too much work done to f it up with someone else's short cut. Thanks all - any comments on why this was done, fixes etc most welcome! Scott

It has been my experience that when the Klima relay trips and shuts down the compressor it is because the relay has gotten too hot. Remove the relay, cool it down with a wet/cool cloth, pop it back in and everything works fine again.
