trans lock-up
I just purchased a 1989 190E 2.6. Does the trans have a converter lock-up at highway speeds. I have allways driven honda products, and they have a noticeable lock-up. If the trans does not have a lock up, what is the normal engine rpm at 70mph?
Thanks, John |

3,000 RPMs at 70 mph is a pretty good number.
Mercedes' rev high on the hwy... it's normal.

thanks for the help. I was not sure if the rpm's should be so high. Does the trans take Dexron 3 at fluid change?
Thanks again |
