i've replaced a few oil pans on 124s and 201s.

remove fan shroud, rad hoses and trans cooler lines from radiator.

drop the exhaust everywhere except the manifold. tie it to the rear bumper so i doesn't crack from the weight.

attach some way to lift the engine from the top. remove lower bolts from motor mounts.

remove sway bar from frame, leave alone at control arms.

lift engine, remove oil pan. it has to come out the front, but the engine has to be high enough to get the rear of the pan past the crossmember. good luck, chuck.
