2001 CLK320 blows horn fuse
CLK320 157000 miles
The horn fuse (#40) has blown for the third time in two months. What can be causing this? All switches on the steering wheel work. Is it possible that only the horn wires in the clockspring could be shorting out? Thanks |

Horns are usually on the front of the vehicle (I don't know for sure for your car) but they often get wet - water + electrickery = problems

The horn has a relay, i.e. the horn button doesn't directly activate the horn.
Would water still play a role if there is a relay? |
