I've gotten good service from Pagid brand pads. Not sure how they compare for high-performance use but for street I felt that they were good quality with good grip and no noticeable fade, some dust but I washed wheels frequently so didn't really notice much.

I've heard good stuff regarding Pagid as well but have never tried them. I just removed Textar pads when I did the fronts last weekend and I like them for performance but they seem to be really dusty. And I TRY to keep my cars clean but there are those times that they may be dirtier for a longer period than I want and MAN does the dust build quickly!
I had every intention of replacing brakes on rear at same time but when I started to get into it, heck, the pads were still half - two thirds! These are Akebono's I'm 99% sure. Rotors look great too so I'll postpone that service item for a while longer plus I've already got the parts. I'm just getting older and not fond of crawling on the ground doing under car stuff!
