Anyone know the part number / Where in EPC
Anyone know part number or where in the EPC I can find part #5 ("plug") in the attached image. This is a w202, but i believe w208 and others use the same. It secures the under dash panel to the floor.
Thanks much. Last edited by 79300D; 05-06-2017 at 02:31 PM. |

A bunch of hardware / body plugs and other misc are on a couple of pages in the EPC. I don't specifically know where.
This part is a plastic hollow bolt and is probably used across all models in near by years. I think the stud sticking out of the firewall is a standard 6 mm thread so a washer and but would work fine just don't tighten it all the way ( or use a self locking or MB factory plastic nut ) . The original hollow bolt bottoms out on the stud before it pulls the hush panel tight, this is to allow for dimensional variations. |

Thanks for the reply. I have been all over that EPC.. I found the hardware / plug section, put it does not appear to be listed there either. It would be great if the WIS had a link back to the parts in the EPC. I'm sure its about a $2.00 part as well; and I've spent $100.00 in time looking for it. Ha.
