illuminated star

Looking for guidance in making the electrical connection for my illuminated star for my 2014 E350 benz. Thought that instructions were to be included. the wires are bare, no plug in attachments. One red one black. the red is hot and black in ground, but where to connect them so that the star comes on when the lights come on. Thanks in advance.

You would need to pick up power from the parking lights, a less intrusive method may be to grab the parking fuse if it is in an under hood fuse box.

Ground is easy. There's a bunch of brown wires under the headlight connected to the chassis. That's a main ground point.

As mentioned above you can tap into the parking light wire for positive. Use heat shrink tubing and solder it. Let's be professional

Here is the instructions for the permanently illuminated star. I've done quite a few and it's very easy!

after much careful review and thought, this is way above my paygrade. Could not find parts . Might have to find someone local to do the job. was just hoping that I might be able to tap into the wire for the lights and into a ground. Defeated again.
