I have a strange question about my 16 valve. Have you had any complaints about this model or any other MB car that has a little amp draw on the battery when sitting idle say for a week? I know there are quite a bit of electronics aboard the car the can account for this.
Thanks
Joe

The car should draw 30milliamps (.030 amps) when EVERYTHING IS OFF. You should test this using a Fluke Meter and run the negative cable to the meter and the other lead of the meter to the groud post of the battery.

The clock uses 10-15ma, the rest of the draw comes from COMPUTERS that require just a bit of power for memory.

The computers will retain their memory for a long period even with the battery disconnected. They use a capacitor for this.
