How high does your compressor go?


Not to say I officially encourage this, but you can hold the pressure switch closed and typically run them up a Lot higher. Amazing what another 40-50 psi will do for you. Make sure you have a fresh few drops of oil in the gun as well ..helps!

10 gal Harbor freight compressor.. sopposely 5.8 cfm at 90psi. Tops out at 125psi. I did bump it up to 100psi just to see if I could tap it harder but the nut wasn’t flinching

Oh...well, idk if that would ever really have enough ass ...

I'll run the compressor up to 185-200 psi when I have a stubborn nut/bolt what have you. We run at 150-160 normally. I'd wager that double your air pressure would likely do the trick.

I found the harbor freight 1000 lb/ft electric impact will remove the most stubborn of fasteners if you have the space to use it.
