Found an interesting car color site

Factory Color Galleries | GTCarLot.com

It has pictures of actual cars. There isn't any color correction but at least you get an idea of what it looks like.

I checked it out for my '71 Brands Hatch Green Corvette. Their example is wrong. Mine still has the original factory paint.
