Foxwell scanner and W211 ride height, YES it can adjust the height!
So after replacing the fried air compressor pump with a nice Arnott, which seems rock solid, I wanted to adjust the ride height (2004 E320 wagon) and the Foxwell 520 seemed not to have that function. Its not shown in instruction outline of functions, but then in the menu under chassis/suspension/special functions it gives both a manual and automatic adjustment feature for ride height adjustment. It seemed not to work at first, just filling way up and then releasing the pressure back to previous levels but now I find the ride height has been raised from a minus 2 to now plus two and now showing plus three. The foxwell also brought my dead headrest motor back to life by setting the travel limits and also had both a manual and auto function. The passenger headrest was fully extended and would return to this high position every restart of the car, and this was also corrected by the limits adjustment function.
I stated the foxwell could not adjust ride height on an MB forum and also asked here, so for the record, yes this $160 some odd dollar unit can do this stuff.
Amazing. Sure beats a thousand plus for a Star system.. It also went through all the travel limits on the ac system air control doors and I now find the AC works far better with high airflow volume.
