Question telephone connection 95 E320

Can the telephone plug in the armrest be used to charge a regular cell phone? what is needed ? I have a startac cell phone and don't want to use the lighter for the phone.

you can get a handsfree kit to replace the factory phone with. shouldn't cost too much and it is hardwired into the car.

What kind of phone/handsfree kit do you have? Also, what is that unit between the mic and the dome light?
