THE REAR TIRES HAS A VERY NEGATIVE CAMBER, THE WEAR IS ALWAYS IN THE INSIDE.I THINK THAT I NEED TO REPLACE MY CONTROL ARM BUSHING BUT THE MECHANIC RECOMMENDS TO INSTALL AN "offset bushing" TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. ALSO, THE ODOMETER QUIT WORKING BUT THE SPEED STILL SHOWS UP.I CHECK THE CABLE TO THE TRANSMISSION SIDE, THERE NO GEAR THAT EXIST AT THE END. COULD YOU PLEASE ADVICE ON HOW TO CORRECT THIS SITUATION /?

The camber problem is a result of weak springs usually. And be sure that the spring pads are the ones with 3 dots on them (they are the thickest ones).
As for the odo. The rod that controls the turning of the #'s has slipped out...The only way I have fixed them is internally. ------------------ Benzmac: ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN LEAD TECHNICIAN FOR 14 BAY FACILITY MERCEDES SPECIALIST 8 YRS PARTNER IN MERCEDESSHOP.COM |
