I have a 92 300CE that runs great, with one exception. Even with the air off and the pedal floored, it takes a second or two to gather itself before launching from a standing start. A tuneup didn't help.
Is this common with these cars? |

2nd gear start issues? Beyond that I will let the pros tackle driveability problems.

This engine didn't come on until about 2,800 rpm. As a result, the car did hesatate off the line a little. If you pull the shifter into 2ndm the car will start in first and hold it untill redline and will shift into second.
