My dealer has told me that the only fix for the gas gauge flaw is to gold plate the sensor in the tank.
Is this what MBNA is suggesting or is my dealer just pulling my chain? |

MBNA has had no material on the permenant repair for this problem...Give them some time and they will figure it out because they are aware of it!!

One of the proposed repairs for the "not full" readings is to use gold plating on the fuel float contacts. Mercedes "says" that the amount of sulfur in our fuel(USA) is causing corrosion inside the sending unit.
