dash cluster gone dark! Mercedes 190e 2.3

Philip from Red Deer Alberta, asks: pulled the dash cluster to switch the illumination to LED, and replace the outside temperature LED. Plugged everything back in and all lights work that is all indicators on start up, left and right turn signals, hazards work as well. I have a spare cluster I use for parts, I removed the rheostat (dimmer switch) and jumped the posts, still nothing. I'm considering bypassing everything to get the dial illumination to work, This picture is of the spare cluster on my bench. I really don't want to make things worse here, I should mention. the radio turns on with the car off and door open. Related? will attempt to post a photo of a possible bypass 12+ and ground.

Alright, Hi I looked however much I could and kindly don't abhor the way that I might be posting an all around much responded to address. I might want to work on the brightening on my instrument group, as well as the whole scramble controls, for example, AC controls and so on. Any ideas or guidelines would be incredibly valuable. Picures of introduces and expulsions would be incredible as well. This is for a 1991 190E W201 2.3L Thanks ahead of time.
