When car is cold and I back out of driveway onto road, shift into Drive and press the accelerator, engine will wind up and then slam into gear. I have to feather accelerator to avoid loud clunk but still trans. seems to search for gear before going forward. The moment car is warm no more problems. Any thoughts? Dealer says not much of a problem but if it bothers me I have to buy a new transmission.
