I am still having problems with the a/c in my 190E 2.3. Does anyone know how to test evaporator sensor on heater box to see if it is faulty or is there a way to bypass it to see if the sensor is faulty? I could use some help with finding detailed information on air conditioning wiring. Does anyone have diagrams or some details that might help me?Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance. Steve '85 190E 2.3 |

Here is resistance value for evaporator sensor.....+20c 24~28 kohms +25c 20~24 kohms +30c 14~16 kohms +35c 13~15 kohms The sensor transmits resistance to push button unit.this sensor value provides input for temperature regulation evaporator freeze protection. hope this help. ------------------ MB STARS Master Guild Technician,12 years MB tech 5 years independent shop owner |
