That's right. Occasionally when I start my C220 in the morning, she "clanks" a little like a diesel and she clearly misses on a cylinder. But...in a few seconds, she's ready to roll with all 4 bangers at work.

Is this something that I should have looked at before damage of some sort is done? What on earth could it be?

She has 54,000 miles on her and otherwise runs perfectly. Oil changes every 3,000 miles, etc. Any suggestions?

We have seen ingition coils and faulty spark plug wires cause this.
