I've noticed a squeaking sound coming from my front vents even on a good road, the dealer sprayed some silicon spray - but only fixed it for about a day.

This has left a sour note in my mouth because I spent a premium dollar for average problems.

Is this normal, I have a couple friends who had this type of problems with their CLK, is Mercedes quality going the way of Chevy? I’ve also observed, but I may be wrong, that the center front vents are snapped in place, not screwed – this true?
