Sunroof needs a little lubrication.
What is the procedure in detail as to what needs Lubed when, and with what Type of lubricant for this chassis. Thanks in advance. Mike Mullins ------------------ |

Mercedes made some special lube for the S/R, but I hav found that a very light oil such as 3in1 or WD40 will work fine. Keep the sliding surfaces clean and lube the wind deflector usually works the best.

Thanks,
I try to keep it clean and slick, but thought maybe there was something to be done to the cable assembly. I have good luck with Syl-Glide on the rubbing areas, and WD or other lube (bought some M1 spray)on the tracks. The deflector does seem to get the worse beating. Mike |
