Driver's side power window does not work, no clicking or movement when switch depressed. Other 3 windows ok. With voltohmeter, 12volts measured at motor connections inside door panel & switch changes it from 12v to 0. I removed motor connected to gear drive. When connecting leads to 12v battery ... nothing happens. Bad motor? Open rotor winding? Can I buy just the motor or rotor? What does new one cost?

You can buy the motor by itself. We have them in the partshop. You will have to fill out a request for the part # I don't know it off hand.

Very recently I had the same problem with the same window, which turned out in buying a new motor at the MB dealer. In The Netherlands the price is $210. I paid $100 for exactly the same MB part in Germany.
Make sure the motor has the right part number because I'm told that there is more than one version for the 190.
Good luck,

Robert

My 190E rear right door motor is
jam and the window completely close.
Can the motor be repair or else
it is easy to replace the motor by
myself ? Some steps to replace the
motor will be great.
Thanks

Thanx for info. I did not find it difficult to remove the front window motor if you use a Haynes repair manual, know how to properly remove the inside door panel, & and use sticky tape to hold the window in the "up" position.

New question: Is there a switch somewhere that tells the motor when the window reaches the closed position on this 85 190e?

Not at all. The window just stalls the motor.
