90 MB 300E deactivate the anti-theft device

Hi:
I have a friend who lives in Japan who bought brand new the US spec MB 300E in 1990 seeks advice how to remove the factory installed anti-theft device from the car.
It has been malfuncting and MB JAPAN has no idea regarding its device.
