I have tried PIAA Super White(80w/100w) on my '92 400SE. I wasn't aware of "wire melting" 'til someone post it. I purchase those light bulb, and thought they were 50w/60w 'til one day I read(ya, finally) the label on the package. However, it didn't melt my wires, and I really love the advantage of higher wattage. It really lights up the road, though not as good as real Xenon, I am still happy with them.
