I think you mean the "designo" edition (pronounced I believe "dee-zin-yo". Yes, the paint, interior color, color of the stitching, and color/type of wood that is used is different than what is normally available. Mechanically I believe they are the same, although I think there is sometimes an extra option or 2 thrown in with the designo editions.
