Recently was offered an opportunity to purchase a 1993 190E with 24,000 miles (little old lady from pasadena situation)- perfect except had a $12,000 repair for right front end accident which was repaired at MBZ dealer 4 years ago. Interior and exterior in excellent condition and selling price is $15,000. Any advise on price, pitfalls, etc. Thanks.

This is one to get a second opinion on, both from a service & sales(due to accident repair) point of view. Any $$ up front could save $$$$. For this kind of $$ I hope it's a 2.6.

When I do a Pre-purchase inspection, I advise against buying cars with any body work because there are so many with no body work. 12K dollars? It was hit hard!!
