I have a 1991 190E and am wondering how to make the fog lights clear, rather than yellow. Is the bulb yellow or do i need to remove some reflector?

On my car I'm pretty sure it is the lens that is colored; i.e. the bulb and reflector itself is clear, or mirrored with no tinting.

Actually if take the front lens off, you will find a reflector inside of the clear lens. Take it off and you will see. The front lens should be replaced if you take them off and they are old. I have seen the higher mileage ones that are cracked and weathered.
We carry them in the partsshop if you need them. ------------------ Benzmac: 1981 280GE SWB 1987 16V ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN SERVICE MANAGER FOR 14 BAY FACILITY MERCEDES SPECIALIST 8 YRS PARTNER IN MERCEDESSHOP.COM |
