My switch is hard to "lock" on left turns, and on high beam usually both high and low beams light up! Would lubrication help, hinder, or waste resources? Are there fixes or parts for this? If not, Partsshop has the entire assembly --what is involved in replacing the switch on my car? It looks like its all on the exterior of the steering post under a removable rubber boot. Are there any surprises? I hate surprises.
