Hello everyone. I must admit that I have not been here a while. In November I bought a 2001 Corvette Z06 and have been spending alot of intimate time with it
![]() ![]() Thanks...Peter In case anyone was wondering...at 130mph, I prefer the 400E over the Z06. Having a Corvette makes me really appreciate the quality of a MB. It's just so solid and quiet, and smooth!!! ![]() ![]() ![]()

Pull the vacuum line off of the fuel pressure regulator and pull vacuum on the regulator...IF it doesn't hold vacuum, replace the regulator.

Benzmac...
I figured that might be the problem, I just wanted to ask for pro opinions first. However, doesn't the car have a cold start injector? When would that come into play? PEter

Cold start injector is activated when the coolant temp is below 15 degrees C.

May not be related to starting issues but sounds like you need a new thermostat. Your engine and mine should run NO COOLER than 80 degrees. The fuel injection system never goes into closed loop at those really low temps (I think).
