Has anyone installed an after market car alarm in their 190e? I'd like to put one in mine, complete with keyless entry but am unsure of where to find the wiring and don't know how to connect the keyless feature to my Mercedes vacuum locks. Any suggestions or recommendation on a good installation shop in NYC?
Thanks, Corey |

I have done a few and they worked well. You need to go to a dealer that has someone capable of doing this work. In most cases, they will be able to install a Keyless Remote that will actuate the Factory alarm.

I put a Prestige car alarm with keyless entry. I let a pro install it but it is one of the best improvements I have done to my 1988 190E 2.3. It is great not having to use the key to open and lock the doors. You will have to buy a special valve that will operate the vacuum lock system but it is only 15.00 to 20.00 bucks extra. If you need anymore info email me.
