ASR Fluid Tank

I have a 1992 2.5 turbo mercedes diesel with ASR. Does the fluid in the tank beshind the abs system ever have to be changed? looks like it is pretty thick stuff..sytem is working fine.

Do you have ASD? ASR uses brake fluid and has no additional tank. Diesels came with ASD (I think) but don't know if they required a separate fluid tank.

What's your owner's manual say?
