My 1981 300D fan clutch is bad and needs replacing. I currently have the old metal style fan. I have read where the newer plastic 9 blade fan is more efficient and bolts on the same fan clutch. Is this true? Or do i need to get a different clutch? Is it really worth the effort? I was thinking that since I have to replace the clutch anyway I may as well put on a better fan if available.

On some models you have to update the fan when doing the clutch. You will have to see if this one is applicable to you. We do sell the parts in the partsshop.
