I was under the inpression that Octane rating was a measure for the amount of ANTI-KNOCK solution in the gas. I read in the Owner's manual for my E-320 (W210) that it is recommended the Owner never uses anything less than 91 Octane because it will cause Carbon deposit in your engine.... Here is my question:
Does higher Octane also reduce the likelihood of carbon-deposits?? Thanks beforehand yamil ![]() |
